About Duskline

Lighting design for people who show up after dark.

Duskline started in 2018 because Marcus Reyes was tired of watching landscape lighting get treated as an afterthought — a bag of solar spotlights added after the hardscape and planting budget was already spent. After twelve years as a residential electrician, he started designing lighting the way an architect designs a house: plan first, dig second.

Today Duskline designs and installs landscape lighting across the Eastside, from Kirkland to Mercer Island. We're still a small team, on purpose. Every plan gets drawn by someone who will also be on site the day it's installed.

Our Process

Four steps, every time.

Free Dusk Consultation

We walk your property together after sunset and talk through what you want lit and why.

Custom Lighting Plan

A fixture-by-fixture plan with placement, beam angles, wire runs, and pricing in writing — no surprises later.

Professional Installation

Most homes take one to two days. Wiring gets buried, fixtures get mounted, and we aim everything after dark.

Annual Maintenance

Seasonal visits keep bulbs fresh, lenses clean, and fixtures aimed as your landscaping grows in.

The Team

Small on purpose.

Marcus Reyes

Founder & Lighting Designer

Twelve years as a residential electrician before he started designing lighting full-time. Marcus draws every plan personally.

Sara Lindqvist

Installation Lead

Came up through landscape construction. Sara runs every install crew and does the final after-dark aim-and-focus walk-through.

Devon Park

Client Experience

Schedules every dusk consultation and keeps maintenance plans on track, season after season.

★★★★★

“Two years in and the system still looks new. Duskline swaps a bulb before we even notice it's out — that's what the maintenance plan is for, I guess.”
